Post 1: About Me

Hi! I am Andrea G. and I am from Anchorage, Alaska. I am a junior at TCU, and I am a special education major. I took this course for two reasons, one because it is required and two, because I love fiction. I read whenever I can! I have always loved to read in my spare time and my favorite genre of fiction is mystery novels. I love authors like Catherine Coulter and Nora Roberts. When I am reading a book I enjoy, I will stay up until the early morning to finish it. I read Gone With the Wind in a day and a half, and my copy was 1,024 pages long. I get very wrapped up in books and don’t want to put them down. Reading has always been a way of relaxing for me, and I always have a book that I carry around with me. I have taken classes before on fiction, but the professors have always seemed to assign the same books every time. That is something I am very happy this class will not be doing. I do not read many short stories so in this course I hope to find some I really love. Aside from reading I also love to hunt, fish, fly, and camp. I really just love to be outdoors!
