A Spinster's Tale

Elizabeth definitely changes throughout the story. She is only a little girl at the beginning who is trying to figure out how to deal with life and get through without her mother around. I think there are two different conflicts in this story. I think there is man v man with Elizabeth and Mr. Speed and there is also man v self with Elizabeth. She has a hard time with her family around her and takes that out on Mr. Speed, but she is also fighting with herself in the story as well.
