Intervention

I picked the story Intervention because it sounded more interesting to me than the other story. I think it is really interesting how the two generations deal with the drinking problem in different ways. The kids want to deal with it head on and the mom wants to sweep it under the rug and make sure no one finds out about her husband’s problem. She even goes out and re-parks his car when he has been out driving drunk so the neighbors will not see. I think this shows the differences in generation because the kids want to be more upfront about it and the mom does not.
